How it works
A liquid facelift, while not surgical, uses injectables to fill wrinkles and add volume to the face for a younger, more refreshed look. By injecting dermal fillers into areas of the face with fine lines and volume loss, a similar effect to a traditional facelift can be accomplished. A liquid facelift will restore facial contours resulting in a more rested and energetic look.
What to expect
The liquid facelift achieves a similar effect to that of a more invasive facelift but without the use of a scalpel. By utilizing injections the procedure is considerably less invasive. Liquid fillers are injected into the desired region of the face to create the appearance of a lift. This leads to a tighter, more rejuvenated appearance. This procedure can produce almost immediate results for patients looking to address fine lines and volume loss, however, will not help individuals who want to get rid of sagging skin. A liquid facelift ranges in cost from $$3500-$5700. To complete a liquid facelift, a variety of different injections can be utilized to create the desired look for the patient. Juvederm Ultra is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler that is used to smooth wrinkles. Results last for up to a year. Juvederm Ultra Plus is used for deeper wrinkles while Juvederm Voluma can create more volume in the regions of the cheek. These are longer lasting dermal fillers with results lasting up to 2 years.
Before starting, your injector will provide a local anesthetic to numb the area. Each injection takes just a few minutes and may target areas such as:
● The temples
● Underneath the lower eyelid
● Sagging cheeks
● Nasolabial folds between the nose and mouth, also called marionette lines
● Creases beside the mouth that cause jowls
Stop taking blood thinner medications and no alcohol for 24 hours prior to the treatment. Reschedule if a rash or blemish develops.
Prepare your schedule by allowing yourself 3 to 4 hours at the spa for your liquid Face lift.
